Alpha Guild (Practice Roleplay)

Zega was flying over the forest as he landed on a branch. He looked the horizon and sighed about missing home but he would press on.

Thistle lightly made her way through the thick roots of the forest. She sniffed the damp air for the scent of any noted herbs to gather for her storage. It was dawn, just about morning, the perfect time to go out foraging. All of the nocturnal predators were going to rest, and all of the day predators were still deep in their slumbers. She was swift moving across the wet dirt, under and over the fallen-moss-covered trees and stumps. Then Thistle caught the faint scent of an herb. She stopped on a hollow log and searched for the scent. She caught the trail and grinned as she leaped off of the log and pursued down the scent trail straight to her prize.

Zega dived down passing a girl like him but he barely noticed he headed for a cave to relax.

Thistle turned her head after hearing a rustle of wings. She stopped in her tracks and stared towards the source of the sound. All she saw were the never-ending thick-barked trees and the branches gently rustling from a light breeze. She sighed lightly and shrugged it off, continuing down the scent trail to the plants.

One of the black hyffon's ear twitches as he turn around, searching for the source of the sound. He was deep in the wood, he know that he would be facing something sooner or later. Quietly he then crouch down and moved though the bushes in hope of heading to right direction.

Cynderius's eyes flew open as the gushing sound of waves crashed against the rocks like an alarm clock. He stretched himself as he stood up, looking towards the sky. He then looked at the corner of little leaf-writings, and decided to obtain more to make more of them. It was a strange hobby of his to do such a thing, but it's something he did since he was young. He shrugged, not wanting to think about it, and headed towards the forest.

Zega stomach growled.
"Oh why now?"
Zega then soared to the ground as he looked under a rock for something to eat.

Thistle clawed her way through a thick bush to reveal her prize on the other side. Planted in the moist dirt stood a single sprout of an orange lily. "Perfect," she smirked. Oh, how her sense of smell has grown since she began training as healer! She carefully extracted the plant from the dirt, so she wouldn't kill it or destroy it. After successfully retrieving the lily, she gently grasped it in her beak and made her way back to her tree hollow.

Zega sighed as he dropped the rock unaware there was Scorpion on his beak. It began to attack Zega as he tried get the Scorpion off. He cried out in pain as the scorpion kept stinging him. Until he was able to get the scorpion of him but it was too late the scorpion was able to poison Zega as he lied there coughing.

As she made her way back to her tree hollow, Thistle heard a shriek nearby. She stopped and contemplated her her options. She hated her conscience, telling her to investigate the perilous screech; when she wanted to leave it alone. "Aughh," a hiss escaped her beak in frustration. She cautiously maneuvered her way towards the sound when she broke a stick, making a loud cracking sound. She silently cursed and waited for a reply.

"Who there?"
Zega coughed heavily as he was close to coughing blood.

"Who there?"
The sound echoed in Thistle's mind. She restrained herself from lashing out or running away and remained back in hiding. She forced herself to reply. "I could ask you the same thing," she said darkly, her voice as sharp and brittle as ice.

"Please don't kill me."
Zega said leaning on a tree for balance. He knew the poison was affecting his eyes and body.

"Who are you?" She hissed. "I-if you don't answer, then I'l-I'll kill you!" She tried to keep her light, delicate voice sharp to not appear weak.

"My name... My name... Is... Zega."
Zega fell down while he was breathing hard and coughing blood.

"What's wrong with you, Ze-ga!?" Thistle demanded. She didn't want to end up wasting her time with a fool trying to trick her.

I was poisoned. My vision blurry. Please help me.
Zega coughed up blood.

She sighed. Thistle took the orange lily out of her beak and held it with her feathery tail. She peeked behind the bush to see a black Hyffon collapsed on the ground, coughing blood out onto the dirt. He had a single white stripe going down the length of his back. He seemed harmless, to say the least. She moved her slender body out from behind the bush to be in his vision, her sleek black coat and feathers shimmering in the dim morning light.

Zega was shivering and coughed more blood.
"Please I don't want to die."

"Just shut up already." She growled and turned around, disappearing into the bushes. She began to swiftly gather leaves and assorted herbs. She then returned to the weak Hyffon and lied out the items next to him. She used the plants to extract the poison from his body. Then she gently wrapped his wound with leaves, careful to not scratch him with her talons.

Zega eyes could finally see as he smiled at his savior.
"What your name Miss?"
Zega said moving his eyes to face hers.

"Nothing. You don't need to know that." She snapped. She finished tending to his wound, sat down and sighed. She blankly shuffled her wings behind her.

"Ok then but my parents told me that it was polite to ask for the person name because I owe you a favor."
Zega looked at her puzzled.

She glared. "Being polite isn't a key to survival." She murmured. She then stood and turned, walking down towards a trail.
