The Drenched Guild

She glared and let go of his wrist. She turned to leave camp into the hunting territory, the swampy lake land. That was where there was plenty of rodents and fish. He looked back at Zerom. "Well? Hurry! Stop wasting time."

"I'm coming."
Zerom ran to her side.
"So what your name I haven't seen you in the camp before?"

She looked at Zerom confused. "You haven't? I've been in camp the whole time, we were apprentices together!" She scowled at him and looked forward and continued walking. "Remember anything at all? My name is Anna, in case you forgot."

"I'm sorry Anna."
Zerom sighed as he lowered his head. He felt dumb because he forgot a girls name that he been with alot when he was little.

"It's fine," she sighed. The finally arrived at the lakes and she looked around, cautiously slipping into the glassy water. She then returned with a fish in her beak.

"Nicely done."
Zerom did the same and came out with a fish in his beak as well but when he got to land the fish was smacking him in the face with his tail repeatedly.

Anna tried to keep a straight face and tried not to laugh. She obviously struggled with that. The fish she held died out from lack of water and she set it down in the damp grass. She straightened up and looked at Zerom. "You should fix that."

"Alright."
Zerom beak closed tight on the poor fish's bones cracking as the fish finally died and the Zerom placed his fish down as well.
"You wanna catch more or is this good enough?"

She nodded. "We need more for the Guild." She murmured and instantly disappeared back into the water.

"Ok then."
Zerom flew over the lake just high enough so he could use his claws to grab any prey. He then spotted two fish and dove with his claws grabbing them and flew back to where they left the other fishs.

Anna returned to the lakeside and dropped off another fish, but a bigger one. She sat down, licking water off of her fur and shaking her feathers.

Zerom smiled as he was stunned at how good Anna looked when she came out of the water he then blinked a bit.
"Nice catch."

She glanced at him, not straying from licking her fur. She paused her grooming for a moment to reply, "Thank you." She resumed her grooming, her silver fur shiny in the noon sun.

Zerom sat down and smiled.
"So do you wanna eat two now and bring the rest back?"

She looked up at him. "We're not supposed to eat until everyone else has gotten their food." She murmured. A fish would be nice out here, though.

"Ya it does look like it might be a perfect sunset today too."
Zerom looked at the sun.

She nodded. "I do love the sunset over the lakes." She commented quietly.

"You wanna watch it fall togethor?"
Zerom laid down next to Anna.

She shrugged. "Well we are already here so may as well." She sighed and sat down on top of one of the little hills under where a tree stood. "This is my favorite spot to watch the sunset."

Zerom sat dow right next to her carrying all the fishes so they don't get stole.
"I see why you like it so much."

She nodded slowly. "The view is amazing. Sometimes, it almost seems magical." She smiled slightly, but it quickly disappeared from her face. "It's one of the few things we can enjoy in life." She added darkly.

"Yes it nice to enjoy these moments."
Zerom smiled.
"It makes me wonder how better my life would be without my other self."

She shook her head and looked down, a smirk on her face. "You and your other self again..." She scoffed lightly. "I think that you need some way to get rid of that...Other self of yours." She looked back up to the sunset. "You need to be able to serve the Guild with out your other self 'coming up'."

"I agree fully Anna."
Zerom smiled.

Jeromeo began to fall asleep standing up.
"So... Bored."

"But how to get rid of that other side..." She mumbled. She lost her trail of thoughts as she gazed into the orange sun setting below the hills.
