Ranks Guide

The hyffon guild ranks are listed here accompanied by their description, normal age spans, and lives.

Leader.: The leader of the hyffon guild. The give orders and what they say is law. Females cannot have any hatchkits, and males cannot have a mate because they have a duty to be fulfilled. 5 lives. Whenever he/she became the leader, onward until he/she dies, or retires.

Successor.: The future leader of the guild. When retired or has died, the successor must be replaced by another solider. The successor has to have at least trained one apprentice, and female successors must not have any hatchkits or eggs to take care of. 1 life. Normally any time he/she became the successor, till he/she dies, retires, or becomes leader.

Healer.: Mainly the doctor of the guild. The healer heals the wounds other hyffons of the guild get from battle or minor things like sore throat. They also talk to the spirits of the Star Guild through dreams, omens, and the star falls. Female healers may never have hatchkits or a mate, wile male healers may never have a mate. 2 lives. Normally any time he/she becomes a healer after the other healer has passed or retired and till he/she dies or retires.

Healer Apprentice.: This is the rank of which a hatchkit, goes under the apprenticeship of the healer. The hatchkit must be at least 5 moons old to be a healer apprentice. 1 life. 5 moons until the healer passes away or retires.

Soldier.: A fully apprenticed hyffon that will serve his/her guild. They can train apprentices to become soldiers, soldiers can go hunting alone or in groups, they can take a border patrol party out to refresh the borders, and they will go into battle. 1 life. Normally 11+

Apprentice.: A trainee that is training to become a soldier. They are mentored by soldiers and follow their command. They are only allowed out to hunt with a soldier for protection. Hatchkits will become apprentices when they are at least 5 moons old. 1 life. From 5 moons, to 11 moons.

Queen.: A female hyffon taking care of an egg(s), and/or hatchkits. They take care of them until the hatchkits have become apprentices, then the queens return to their soldier duties. 1 life. Normally up to 6 moons with a litter.

Hatchkit.: A hatchling hyffon. They are taken cared of until they become apprentices. Normally up to 5 moons.

Elder.: A retired hyffon. They live in the camp and don't go to battle, or hunting. 1 life (unless its the retired healer, or leader with more than one life left.). Normaly any time he/she retires.

Rogue.: A hyffon that has been kicked out of its guild. They normally go live in the other loner/rogue areas. 1 life. Any age usually over 11 moons.

Loner.: A hyffon that doesn't live or has ever lived in a guild. They usually live alone and don't belive much in the Star Guild. 1 life. Any age.
