Role Play Rules

1.: Keep it at a max of PG-13, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a forum for all ages. So just imagine that every other user on this site is 10 years old.

2.: No cussing. People of all ages can be on this site. Starring it out or abbreviation does NOT make it okay. It will still be against the rules.

3.: No power-playing! This means making yourself more powerful then any other player.

4.: When you are RPing (Role-Playing), write your RP in *'s or write IC, so we know if you or your character is speaking. Also, put ''s around anything you character says, for example, *Katie walked up to Midnight and said, "Hi there storm! How are you doing?"* If you are writing as yourself, please write in parentheses () or put OOC. This will help us know what is you and what is your character. Example, (Hey guys, could I have a brief recap?) When your character is thinking, please put it in italics, so we know your character didn't say it. Example: *I hope she doesn't attack Jack. Icey thought.*

5.: You must at least write 1 sentence. Also, try and be descriptive with your posts! Use adjectives and adverbs. This will make a post more fun to read. Describe what you’re character is thinking and feeling, not just what he/she is doing.

6.: Also try and use decent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do not make run-on sentences, as those are confusing to read.

7.: No controlling other people's characters without their permission! And do not kill someone's character(s) without their permission.

8.: For the 'Off Topic Roleplays' board: Swearing IN CHARACTER is allowed, but DO NOT use it excessively and only use hell and damn. <-- This rule is optional to allow/disallow by the owner of the RP.

9.: No force breeding/mating, and don't get into detail.

10.: No extreme violence.

11.: You may only have up to 2 high positioned hyffons. This means any of these; Leader, Successor, Healer, or a Healer Apprentice-- can only be a rink of two of your hyffons.

If you create a role play, you may additional rules for it, but these rules apply for and are the main rules for ANY role play here on this site.
